light test B737 NG

when putting the light switch to "test" on the B737 NG which are the lights that don't illuminate? I know there are a few.. thanks

From memory I can only think of the wheel-well fire light and the A/P, A/T, FMC alert lights which have their own test switch.

What were your few ?

I had the same ones actually.. what about the 'PSEU' , 'GPS' and the cargo fire 'detector fault' light?

CaptainSandL 19th September 2006 20:30

No, they definately illuminate on test.

Ok, thanks. It would be nice to see it in writing somewhere. I have looked everywhere. Maybe on the http://www.b737.org.uk site they say something , I will check now

err, no point checking there... unless you want me to put a photo up on it for you!!!

ok, yes the information was not there . I had totally forgotten about bulfer. In there it says "LIGHT TEST" - May or may not illuminate 'WHEEL WELL FIRE' only. But then it doesn't mention the A/P, A/T, FMC lights. Hmmm..

The CVR test light doesn't test either.

The Flight Recorder OFF light does illuminate on a light test although the CVR STATUS light does not.
