737(or other types as well) electrical failures

Hi there!!!

As we all enjoy sharing opinions and experiences is anybody out there that has experienced major electrical failures?(like a loss of both engine driven generators on the 737-300/400).
Personally for the last 3 years that I've been flying the 737-300/400 I only had a generator bus failure and a high generator drive temperature with subsequent disconnect...

Yep, I have had a loss of both engine driven generators... exactly at Vr... on my birthday. If was on B737-200 several years ago, take-off from Frankfurt. We were able to recover 1 bus and continued our flight to Brussels.

Nighttime.
Over MEM at FL330.
The fat fingered Flight Engineer managed to trip off all three engine driven generators.
Unable to reset.
APU unserviceable.
Landed at MEM on ships battery power.
All three GCU's reset, engines started, all was well.
F/E told to keep his hands OFF the GB's thank you very much.
Type acft...L1011-1
A big thank you to FedEx, who provided ground power and the biggest huffer I've ever seen, for engine starting...a turbine unit, which I'm sure could have started all three engines at once.
When asked...how much do we owe you?...the reply was, nothing at all, happy to be of service.
Nice folks in MEM, for sure.
