FMS Glitch
 

The FMS MCDU in the B717 was I believe, purloined from the MD11.

I've now had several experiences in flight, where all the predictive data disappears and is replaced by dashed lines. No ETO, No level at WPT, no speeds predicted, no ETA for dest, no EFOB at DEST. On some occasions the Vref listed on the Tkoff/APPR page has defaulted to 111 or 112 kts, and in both cases was in error by about 20kts. :eek:

On some occasions the fault has self cleared. :confused:

With the wealth of knowledge out there, has any one a suggestion as to the cause, or more importantly, the rectification??

The fix is simple .. it's called a DC9.
