Airbus 320 about <UTC CSTR>
Thank you for your last replies .... I really am...
Today, I got another question... hmm... -_-; In MCDU vertical revision pages, we can see "UTC CSTR", section except FROM waypoint . and the FCOM says - At origin it enables the pilot to enter an estimated takeoff time. - At any waypoint it enables to enter one time constraint (Only one for the entire flight plan I read these sentences more than five times.. But I could not understand.... "When" and "Why" could we use this function ??? Always Safe and Happy FLT ! |
- At any waypoint it enables to enter one time constraint (Only regards (corrected for spelling error) |
If you have an ATC slot delay you can insert a planned take off time to get estimates in GMT for waypoints on route. Not sure why you'd need that but we used it as a rough guide as to whether we'd make schedule.

- At origin it enables the pilot to enter an estimated takeoff time. planit can be used when ATC sometimes holds your takeoff requiering an waypoint Xing time constarint , like FIR boundry limit or so,you can know your airborne time for such constarint - At any waypoint it enables to enter one time constraint (Only one for the entire flight i agree with catch up |
Thats interesting could this be used in the hold for example when given an expected approach time by ATC?
