B737NG no bleed takeoff!

I know there is a procedure for a 'no bleed' takeoff in the NG, with the APU supplying the left pack, then reverting to normal two pack, engine bleed after takeoff, but....

Does anybody operate the NG during takeoff with both packs off, and the APU shutdown?
And as before, reverting to both pack, both bleeds after takeoff.

This is for the increased performance, no APU situation!

I understand that the NG is not certified by the FAA to do this 'no A/C' takeoff.

Cheers, FD

Not so sure about the FAA, but my manual shows the procedure for an unpressurized take-off and landing.

Operations manual Volume 1 Supplementary Procedures SP.2.5/6 refers.

Hope this helps.

Exactly as Capt Chambo says, classics can. I would be very surprised if NG cannot.
