Questions relate to Australian Airspace Please reply if you can help;
Q1. When we talk about oceanic naviagtion or procedures, where do they start? What is the boundary and why? When is an aircraft oceanic? Q2. What does the CYC function on a Wx radar actually do apart from flash the red areas? (Primus/Honeywell) |

Oceanic airspace is controlled airspace between FL245 and FL460 not designated as Class A airspace, and controlled airspace over continental Australia at and below FL600 excluding airspace designated as Class D or Class E, or those control zones in which GAAP are used.
