A340-300 G Hydraulic Question
 

On the "G" sys on the Hyd page, there's a small white tick on the fluid quantity guage. This tick turns into 2 amber ticks if the quantity drops below 17L.

In the Computer Based Trainer (CBT) it states that the ticks indicate a level where if the fluid is less than this, it is insufficient to lower the gear. I have also heard on the line that it's the minimum level at which the RAT will be effective.

None of these 2 statements can be found in the actual Tech manual that the company provides.

Can anyone confirm that this is correct...and where to get the info from ?
