Type A Charts
A standard Type A Chart has the obstacles that penetrate above a 1% slope depicted, if I'm not mistaken?
What would normally happen to the type A Chart depiction (if anything) at an airport with an approach above the standard 3 Degrees? |
The slope is actually 1.2%. The chart is really designed to allow operators to develop OEI contingency procedures for departure. The approach glideslope has nothing to do with the chart.
