Idle N1 and FF on B737

Hi,

I'm working on an engine simulation, and I cant
find the B737 idle N1 or FF in the AOM.

Was wondering if anyone can remember any approx numbers ?
Either 737 classic or NG will do.

Regards,

Morten

Hi XP,

Glad to help: CFM56-7B27A / B737-700IGW

N1 - 20% N2 - 59% EGT - 410C FF - 272 KGPH

*Idle EGT may vary from 320C to 520C depending on OAT, bleed configuration, and engine condition.

Cheers, FD

CFM 56 3 (B1, B2, C3) - Classic:

N1 21.5%
N2 60.3%
EGT 475°C - variable
FF 326 KGPH

The real thing is NEVER corresponding, however that's what the (old and more precise) book says.

This is valid for LOW IDLE on the ground.
HIGH IDLE N1 is roughly 10% higher, higher with higher speed and temp, lower with lower speed and temp.
