Airbus A320 information
Hello out there in Pprune land I am after as much information as possible about the Airbus A320. I am currently preparing for an interview. Would appreciate any information or websites to look at.
Thankyou regards to all from To Fast To Fly.................... |
Hi,
This website is rather fantastic; Airbus Driver . Contains a lot of useful information I reckon including lots of decent documents to download. If you have the time I strongly recommend buying the A320 Systems manual from Impact Ink. I bought it a while ago and use it for all sims, it's such a good reference book. There are a few minor mistakes but I always cross-reference with my Airline manuals - so I'm sure it would be more than sufficient for a tech interview. Good luck! LOC :ok: |
Thanks Localiser I appreciate the information

Absolutely first class reference: "Fly the Wing" Third Edition By: Jim Webb, formerly a captain with Eastern Airlines, and William D Walker. Blackwell Publishing. Ordered a copy on-line for my Xmas present to myself:
http://www.blackwellpublishing.com/...13808545&site=1 The new third edition (it is dated 2004) comes with a companion CD-ROM, which has the Jetblue A320 Flight Crew Operations Manual and the Honeywell Pegasus Flight Systems Pilot Guide for the A330/340/318-321. Some really interesting stuff - I'm deep into the examples and graphs to determine optimum fuel tankering - the graphs allow you to determine the optimum fuel quantity to be tankered as a function of the fuel price ratio between departure and destination airports, flight level, aircraft takeoff weight, and the air distance to fly. Some great stuff at the ATPL/CPL level. Not well written. Straight from the horse's mouth. Excellent. Unbeatable for the A320 driver. |
