Wind Speed

Recently i saw in a WX chart a wind at FL370 with speed of +150 and -140 These speeds regarding the same wind represented. What these speeds means??? Thanks in advance!!!

ahhh! Think reciprocal

In a given wind condition if you fly the reciprocal will you get back to where you started from? I think not.

You say that in a given heading you can have headwind or tailwind??? And the numbers are maximum values????

Finnaly found the answer...

The numbers means: The highest and the lowest altitude of the wind.
