hi

what i meant to ask was that, ba are slowly but surely replacing their 747 with 777 over the next couple of years.

are there any reasons why ba are choosing to or prefer to replace them with 777s rather then the A340s.

Do 777 make better replacements to the 747 then A340 or is it just personal choice.

Also is easier for a pilot to retrain from a 747 to a 777 then changing to a A340.


any answers would be most welcome.

Fewer engines to go wrong, better performance, more cabin volume, lower cost of operation, proper (Boeing, made in USA) aircraft.....need I go any further?
