WHEN YOU SELECT AUTOBRAKES MAX,MED,LOW RATE OF DECEL DO YOU HAVE A MEMO APPEAR ON THE E/W DISPLAY RIGHT SIDE SHOWING IN GREEN MAX ETC

As far as I can remember, once 'Landing Inhibit' is displayed in magenta (below 400'RA), the autobrake setting (LO/MED) is displayed on the ECAM memo.

Not sure about the other types, but the use of MAX autobrake for landing on the 319/320 is not recommended.

Airbus58, yes you do get AUTO BRK LO/MED/MAX memo on E/WD as soon as you select it. It also displays on wheel SD page.
