B747-400 G-Load display ?
Anyone aware of method to display current G-loading on the -400?It is avail. on B767 through the DFDAU display for what its worth.
Thankyou in advance |
We've got a g-meter on one of our 727-200F, used to be a "Royal Air Marocc" bird.
Good for landing competitions between cpt-effo. seupp |
Yep
The landing G loading is available as part of a discrete print-out after landing. I am sure it is available in-flight, just not sure which page! |
Further to my last, nope!
I looked in the ACMS pages, and you can get yaw rate, lateral acceleration, bank angle, but no vertical G info. |
It may depend on the way the ACMS has been programmed. The Flight Recorder Accelerometer in the RH Wing Gear well(I think) talks to the DFDAC which talks to the DMU which talks to the CDU's, so I can see no reason why it can't.
Anyway, if I get the chance tomorrow, I'll check on our fleet. Regards. Q. |

Hmmm.... If G force was there, I couldn't find in the ACMS menu. If it is an option, I don't think our airline has it. Rgds. Q. |
QAVION
I checked my fleet, same result. |
To be able to read G load the ACMS has
to be reprogrammed . I am not sure if the software is available |
