QAR & FDR, FOQA and CVRs

As if the aviation industry doesn't have enough acronyms already....but...

Are the modern Quick Access Recorders going to replace the FDR and the CVRs? or are aircraft going to be flying with all 3 in future?

:ok: Ta in advance chaps

Think that QAR, FDR and CVR will become mandatory in near future.

To add another acronym to your list, WGLQAR ( Wireless Ground Link Quick access recorder) is being trialled at the moment.

FOQA is a process rather than a device. The QAR provides information for Flight Operations Quality Assurance.
