Reverse Thrust

Has anyone come across any engineering data/values for reverse thrust on different airframe/engine combinations. Reverse thrust values are not used for any performance computations that I am aware of (FAR<Part25), however if a reverser is inoperative, some operations are restricted by MEL considerations.

In a recent thread, there was a comment on the ineffectivness of reversers on the B-757. I must assume that that individual is flying a RR powered aircraft. My operation uses both RR and PW engines on the 757, and the PW reversers will have you on the shoulder harness, while the RR reversers seem to just make noise.

Thanks in advance for any input.

FAR 25 does require the use of one reverser when calculating Wet RTO figures, at least on a 757. If you have only one reverser operational for a take off on a wet runway, the RTOM must be reduced by 3100 Kgs.
