what's given in QRH is the correct one. Only for aircraft fitted with soft GA it says TOGA and then MCT.

To my surprise the Soft Go Around is listed as not installed in the FCOM GEN AC CONFIGURATION SUMMARY and in the IF INSTALLED TABLE for the respective tails.

Thx

I'm looking at a QRH for an aircraft not fitted with GA Soft and the summary still says TOGA then MCT.

Then there's something wrong with your QRH because I checked with not one three different aircraft. MCT only comes with OEI, with both engines operating it will flash a message THR LVR to climb because it's neither climb power not cruise thrust.

My theory is that this is a NEO vs CEO thing, for control ability, or rather, not running out of control authority during the pitch up manouver. I have no references to back this up however. Does this pattern fit your fleet?

No. even CEOs with soft go around function have the same write up. THR LVR TOGA then MCT.
