This isn’t new news, we’ve had an FCOM bulletin on this issue since March.

I don't see anything wrong with the bulletins and I would think that any manufacturer would welcome the media spreading the news to those that need it most ...pilots

So what's with the media headlines? and what's worth discussing?

I think the issue is more.... why are the bulletins required?

Because pilots like to feel they are still in control over a computer designed by somebody with a desk job?
