ELEC EMER CONFIG A320
 

Hello everyone!
i’m new here, I’m not sure to post my question on the correct page, if not, sorry for that.
My question is: on the newer A320, when in ELEC EMER CONFIG due to the loss of AC BUS 1 + AC BUS 2, are the FD available for descent?? All videos I have watched, show descent with selected speeds and bird on?
How do you manage the descent?

Hard to answer without knowing your background and previous experience. PC Sim time also matters, just need to know what it is. An idea of the age bracket would actually help too.

Welcome to the forum, enjoy! With a little effort, it is a wonderful and inspiring place here.

There are no FDs available in EEC (you’ll get the red FD flags on the PFDs). Once the emergency generator comes on line you’ll get an FMGC back but still no FDs. PROG page, with a sensible bearing and distance waypoint selected, and 3 X table works best.
