Turn the fuel off, leave the bleed pressure on and that will turn the engine until the fuel has been burned off/removed. Perhaps with no action via the FADEC |

It would help if the aircraft or engine type were stated in these sort of questions. There's a lot of difference to procedures depending on Fadec vs Non Fadec, Electric or Air starter, etc. Dixi. |
As giggity notes, you want to 'dry' motor the engine to get any unburnt fuel out of it. Doing an engine start with fuel already puddled in the engine is a good way to get a hot start and/or a tailpipe fire.
That being said, as dixi notes the exact procedures depend on the engine and aircraft type. Many FADEC autostart systems will do all that automatically without crew intervention. |
