Safety Gear

Evening all,

Drawing a bit of a blank.. am looking for the list of equipment, either mandated or recommended for safety equipment that should be carried aboard aircraft. Need to understand what’s required in different categories etc. Have tried searching the CAA website and am not really getting anywhere!

If you’re able to point me in the right direction would be most grateful!

Safety is probably not a good Forum for this one. I'd go with either tech log (to catch the design guys) or flight test (the certification guys). The maintainers' forum would also be a good spot (to catch the hangar guys).

Let's start with TL as, if there is little joy, I can then flick it on to FT.

It used to be in the Air Navigation Order under Schedule 4, Equipment to be carried. I guess there is an EASA equivalent.
