Fuel Consumption estimation / B763ERW / LFPG - KEWR - LFPG
Hi everyone,
I need accurate and current information, what the average fuel consumption is for the below request. Datas: - 767-300ERW - Engine : PW4000 - LFPG => KEWR & KEWR => LFPG - PAYLOAD : 30 Tons (290 pax / No cargo) Thanks for your help! |
Geeze..what altitude are you going to fly at? plus about 100 other factors!
|
Let's go for FL 350
|
ACCURATE ??
For rough estimate, for that length of flight, use 5 tons per hour.
For the flight, guesstimate great circle distance + 5 %, estimate True Airspeed 480 kts, for the westbound flight estimate 50 kts headwind, for the eastbound flight estimate 50 kts tailwind. Anything more accurate than that requires real flight planning equipment. Oh, and don't forget that this will just give tripfuel, don't forget the additions to get blockfuel. |

in 2004 a holiday company CT2 started up called AV8 airlines to fly direct charters from MANCHESTER and DUBLIN to CAPE TOWN with a 767-300ER in a 2-3-2 config 278 seats
no wing lets were fitted to the leased Icelandic 763 PW powered a/c ex SAS https://www.planespotters.net/airfra...8-Air/el1ATOG4 MAN-CPT is around 5350nm the operation went bust within a year It seems the flight did operate non-stop to CPT from Both MAN and DUB on most occasions and the return flights often dropped in to Palma or LPA for fuel |

Don't see why as the average wind component for that flight is pretty much zero. Whilst Cape Town's runway is limiting especially when the wind tends to become slightly tailwind at dusk Condor seem to do it quite happily with a 767. Granted it does have winglets.

Are you just trying to get someone else to do your homework for you? |
