B752 Fuel Burn

Hi,

I am doing an assessment of the introduction of a B752 113mt MTOW for 3-4 hour charter sectors. The proposed aircraft are quite old around 20 years and are likely to be RB211 equipped. I have been given the following fuel burn stats:

Engine start & taxi 300 lt
Take off climb out H1 3970 lt/hr
H2 cuise 3810 lt/hr
H3 Cruise 3480 lt/hr
H4 cruise 3350 lt/hr

which is an average of 3727 lt/hr for a 4 hour sector. I understand Boeing quotes a generic 3540 lt/hr but none-specific on sector length etc and I wondered if anyone here has some comparative real life experience?

Any info gratefully received.

That tends not to be measured that way in my outfit. But email me and I will do a quick spreadsheet based on a route that you specify or a hypothetical one like EGPD-GVAC in still air ISA. Real life require bias figures for airframe and engine which I could guess I suppose. I cannot spend too much time it. Our B757's have long gone.

Thanks for your offer - I will pm you. I understand that technically you would load fuel by weight and I am happy to take data in lbs or kg. invoices come in litres here so "beanies" often convert to volumetric data, sorry!
