F100/A320 FCU/PFD/ND
I flew Air Europe's F100 and liked the FCU/PFD and ND. When I later flew the A320, I noted that these three items were practically identical in the two aircraft types.
I concluded, therefore, that Fokker and Airbus bought them 'off the shelf'. If so, who was the manufacturer? |
Just as long as it's not Lucas, Prince of Darkness.

A320 FCU is made by Thales, F100 unit is from Collins.
The F100 is far more similar to the A310/A300-600... both use the Collins -1000 series avionics. |
