Why is LNAV not engaged below 400 feet in some 757s?
 
Why is LNAV not engaged below 400 feet in some 757s?

Is it something to do with Pegasus fms and if so what makes it different?

Could it be that like some NGs unless software modified it does not limit the bank angle in case of engine failure? Modified NG limit between 8/15 degrees below 400 and 15 above 400

I believe that if you try, it just won't engage, so you wait until 400'. At least it seems to be that way on my Boeing type.
