I have tried to configure F2 and then Gear Down and all of that with ATHR still on. Aircraft is still perfectly under control, but of course this is with an optimum CoG position. Maybe in case of a CG close to the limits (FWD or AFT) it could be different, haven't tried.

It appears it had more to do with gear extension than flaps. The other way to read it is that that with the loss of G & B Hyds, A/T should be off in order to help control pitch and the aircraft should be in Direct Law before the selection of Flaps. sonicbum Why 200 kias ? |
