One could just as easily see a situation where it is used instead to roll to a further exit than normal for the same ROT as a non-BTV aircraft of the same type. |

That's a completely accurate statement. Out of interest, have you noticed much difference in the braking profiles of EK's A388s at Heathrow, compared to QF, SQ and MH's that don't use BTV ? |
One would expect them to be quicker.
