BTV is not a cure-all.
True. I guess that

"the potential of reducing runway occupancy time by up to 30 percent"
like any manufacturer's claim, needs to be taken with a pinch of salt

Many people just assume that it is there for, and will be used to, minimise ROT.

One could just as easily see a situation where it is used instead to roll to a further exit than normal for the same ROT as a non-BTV aircraft of the same type.
You need BTV 2.0, where the controller gets to dial in the exit to be used, and the pilot can't do anything about it. :O

Well, not really. That's a completely accurate statement.

That's a completely accurate statement.
Maybe so, though I'm always suspicious when I see claims of savings (of any sort) that quote neatly rounded percentages, even without the weasel-words "up to". :O

Out of interest, have you noticed much difference in the braking profiles of EK's A388s at Heathrow, compared to QF, SQ and MH's that don't use BTV ?

One would expect them to be quicker.
