I have seen reference to a "noodle" in various forums regarding Boeing glass displays and cannot find any reference to such a thing in Boeing manuals.
Is the "noodle" the same thing as the trend vector on the navigation display? Many thanks Z :confused: |
Yes.
(Don't confuse this with catching catfish with one's bare hands.:)) |
That would be Noodleing sir...
|
Thank you!
(Not what we call it in my Company, but I couldn't possibly post that one here :O) |
We also call the airspeed trend a noodle. One has to use extreme caution when the noodle gets into the zipper! :}

Noodle is meen or mee
You can have chow meen, dry noodle, kolo mee, tomato noodle or maggie mee or No 34. I do nice fried noodle for £2 a dish. Order soon before disappointment :) |
Would a rate 1 turn be a " 2 Minute Noodle"?
