Airbus fuel burn

Unlike in Boeing documentation, it seems there is not straight away figures of hourly fuel burn for Airbus (for example A320). In FCOM vol 2 cruise fuel burn is shown in 2 types of tables: "integrated cruise" and "quick determination of f-plan".

Is there any supplementary doc which provides hourly fuel burn figures for different weights and fl's?

rule of thumb:
A 320 40 kg/min
A 330 90 kg/min
A 340 140 kg/min :ok:

Thanx, but I'm looking for fuel burn tables. Any ideas where to look?

FCOM 3, In Flight Performance. There are tables with fuel flow per engine per hour at .80, .82, .84 and Long Range cruise.

Widebody/Long Haul aircraft have varying fuel flows, depending on their weight. TO weight can easily be twice as much than for landing. That's because they carry a big percentage of their weight as fuel.

That's why on wide bodies, you never have figures like these. The correct answer is: average fuel consumption is fuel burn divided by flight time (for a specific flight).

Even for a guesstimate as holding fuel at your destinations your numbers don't add up, the 340 figures resemble more of those of a A340-500/600. A 340-300 uses about 90 kg/min. The magic figure is 2.8 tons (30 min final reserve) vs 4.2 tons for a A340-500.

I like to kiss mate. Keep it short n' simple dude. No brainer that 342 or 343 has got the same FF as 330. 140 kg/min is for a big brother 345/346. When you're right you're right. :ok:
