777 vibration with mlg Aft axle steering inoperative?

Does anyone have any practical experience of operating the 777 with the main landing gear aft axle steering inoperative? In particular, flight deck vibration during ground manouvreing due to high tyre slip angle and scrubbing.

Yep, no big deal. Take it nice and easy around corners and don't turn too sharp too quickly otherwise no problems. :ok:

I agree, it's no big deal. In fact, if you avoid any narrow, tight radius taxiways you will not notice any difference at all. If you do happen to get into a tightish turn you will need more power than usual to keep it rolling, due to tyre scrub, but there is no significant vibration, even so.

Almost unnoticeable.

Almost unnoticeable.
Have you ever checked the tires afterwards?

On any multi truck gear, the tires on the inboard side of a turn really take a beating.

Good point! Have never checked. If my memory is not wrong,it happened to me twice long time ago. I will take a look next time.
