A320 reversers with Engine fire

is there any restriction with using reversers with a non extinguishable engine fire?

Is it a takeoff abort, or an emergency landing?

Is the engine firebell alerting the pilot or some other alert?

What actions have preceeded the activation of the reverse lever?

What is meant by restrictions ? advice or some system design feature like the engine has already been shutdown

engine fire during climb. ECAM actions performed,fire doesn' t go out. divert, land with the engine still on fire. Can i use full reversers on both engines on landing?

Exactly. IOW, NO! You can't use that reverser, because you've shut that engine down..... and if you haven't, you should have, and you definitely don't want to be pouring fuel on the fire.

Presumably you have pushed the engine fire button for that engine in which case the reverser will be hydraulically isolated. Do what you like with the reverse lever it won't deploy so there are no restrictions.

On the 737 the difference in rejected take off distance with both reversers operating and only one reverser operating, is only ten feet on a dry runway. Depending on what caused the fire warning, it is worthwhile remembering that any fuel leak spraying around will atomise because of the reverse thrust plume and intensify the blaze. That is what happened with the British Air Tours (?) 737 at Manchester.

It would be illogical to deliberately reverse an engine on fire simply because it is easier to pull two reverse levers than one.
