Lufthansa B-727 Recall
Hi Everybody,
Luthansa B727-200 planes were my favorite ones and they have been ever since. I admired them on our frequent airport visits with my grandfather (deeply infected by aviation by then) and later when I worked at the airport at the lowest rung of my aviation career. The always clean, old Lufthansa paint praising the devoted attention of the maintenance crew, the highly polished lower fuselage reflecting the tarmac, the colorful shields and names of German cities on the belly, the black smoke trail on approach, the amazingly slow approach speed, the spectacular rotation and initial climb angle, the flight engineer checking and replacing burned out exterior light bulbs before the night flight back... Now, dear old chaps can anybody remember the fleet standards of Lufthansa Boeing 727-230 Advanced planes? - passenger configuration? - weights (MTOW, MLDW, MZFW, BOW,) etc? -autopilot (block IV or V)? -ILS CAT? -autothrottle equipped? Any additional info is highly appreciated. Looking forward to your replies, b |
Hi,
have been there got the t-shirt:ok:, three years as F/E and five years as First Officer. If I remember correctly - 8/138 pax - 86.409 kg, 70.100 kg and 63.503 kg - one autopilot, no autoland - ILS CAT II - no autothrust Any additional info? Yes it was THE PILOT'S PLANE:ok: |

Many thanks for the link, interesting stuff. But I'm looking for something more technical, like weights, engine, fuel config. (aux tanks?), etc.
