Ram Rise
Ram Rise in Degree Celsius = (TAS/100)^2.
Now in this equation is TAS in mph or Knots :ugh: |
Addressed here earlier in the month,
http://www.pprune.org/tech-log/44766...peratures.html With a constant in the denominator of 100 then TAS is in miles per hour. You can use whichever length and time scales you want provided you modify the constant. The temperature rise calculated from your equation will be about 24% too low if TAS is treated as being in knots. |
Thanks alot
Thanks that helps
