What type of aircraft performance or related data do ACARS capable Boeing and Airbus aircraft automatically transmit to an airline or air traffic control and how often?

You will be taught that when you are training on the equipment. Otherwise, what value to you would such information be?

All depends on the setting. Some airlines small all your farts during flt. No space for cowboy actions !!!

Basic is on off and in, often ACARS is tied in with ACMS to transmit ERM data to trend engines.
