737 NG rudder use
Flight manual for NG states not to use rudder, except for crosswinds, engine failure, and trim. So does yaw damper automatically apply required rudder for coordination?

'Co-ordination' is not needed for the rates of roll used and spoilers also provide.

The 737 Autopilot has no rudder channel, so no rudder is being used for co-ordination
If no coordination is needed i don't know. I do know that the spoilers operate during turning. In the end, the turn IS coordinated. |
In fact the autoflight system for the 737 NG does have a rudder channel. If it is used however depends on the options ordered, it is a must for fail operational ones. It operates only during approach and go-around though and is therefore no use to any coordination effort.
