"How's my driving?"

Suppose that a resource existed on the Internet - and it may only be a matter of when, not if - where a PF could review his/her last few final approach/landing profiles at a number of the world's major airports (or indeed anyone else's, suitably deidentified).

Apart from the obvious recorded parameters such as height, speed, DME, track, etc, what other factors would be considered relevant when reviewing the quality of one's approach and landing ?

Headwind/tailwind/crosswind component/gusting ?
Runway condition ?
Time of day/night ?
Visibility ?
What the landing traffic immediately ahead and behind was doing ?

Anything else spring to mind ?

It's already here. Most FDM/FOQA software is capable of showing an animation of a downloaded flight, with internal and external views.

Just go and ask your flight safety department to have a look at one of your flights.

Granted. However I was thinking more of a scenario where one's landings were so consistently good (or otherwise!) that reviewing them on the Net in the comfort of one's armchair was preferable to continually asking the FDM folks for a playback. Plus, of course, having the opportunity to see how other crews and carriers perform at the same airport(s).

Anyway, regardless of the viewing environment, can you think of any other measurable, external factors not in my list which could be considered to contribute to a good landing or mitigate a not-so-good one ?

G force! All on FOQA. The public use of this information would lead to inumerable lawsuits and action by the relevant regulator. Just check with your FO or Captain for a debrief.

Control inputs from the PNF perhaps? Though they might not qualify as external factors.

G force!
Yep, can't deny that gravity is an important factor in any landing :-) Though arguably G is a consequence, not a causal factor.

Joking aside, that's an interesting point.

Are you saying that publishing the approach and landing profile on the Net of, say, yesterday's QFA123 (which any informed observer on the ground could approximate for themselves) would necessarily incur the wrath of the regulators and risk litigation, or is it specifically the source being FDR/QAR data that's the issue here ?
