Single Pilot IFR.
Can anyone clarify the minimum RVR required for a legal single pilot PUBLIC TRANSPORT ILS approach. Do different states have different minima?

EU-OPS: 800m. Operators outside EASA jurisdiction - might be different :}

With coupled autopilot it is reduced. 600m as far as I remember. I am sure someone will turn up with the EU OPS reference.
Edit - just checked my ops manual, and it's system minima for single pilot with coupled autopilot (ie down to 550m) with approach lights serviceable. 600m is for no centreline/touchdown zone lights. |
In Canada only CAT I ILS are permitted single pilot so with the new retarded commercial ops approach bans 488 m.
Used to be 366 m. No need or credit for coupled autopilots. |
I am sure someone will turn up with the EU OPS reference. |
The new appendix 1 to OPS 1.430 doesn't have the 1.25 limitation for SPIFR anymore. Does anyone know why this was removed??
