Airbus wing lights
Hello! During a preflight check I mentioned that some of Airbus wing lights illuminate not wing front edges at all but an engines air inlet. But some of them directed right in to the wing front edges. Any ideas?

The A330 wing and engine scan lights give light to both the wing leading edges and engine intakes to examine these areas for ice formation.
Make sure when you are flying that the mid doors are closed as the lights don't operate with these doors open:D |
Yesterday I walked around the A 319 and mentioned that the wing light illuminated the wing front edge but no engines. May be Airbus decided to illuminate both the engines air inlet and wing front edge for the new models?

All our buses have wing lights that light up the leading edge and the engine intakes.
The lights are positioned on the fuselage so that both are lit simultaneously. Amevoice thank you! I have just found the answer for my question in the FCOM. This confirm the common rule: first look through the FCOM then ask
