why do cirrus aircraft have a shorter takeoff
distance than the landing distance? http://www.cirrusdesign.com/sr22/performance.aspx

Cirrus T/O
310HP engine might have something to do with it:)
|
because they have better power than brakes?
|
Or useless brakes?
Being honest - no real idea  |
High power-to-weight ratio single-engine aircraft frequently have short takeoff distance. Particularly true of some 30s-40s aircraft - the P-51H and F8F would make your eyes water on takeoff acceleration and climb.
