Nippon Cargo NRT-AMS/FRA Nonstop with 744F???

Hey, i was looking at Nippon Cargo's schedules and noticed that they show a non stop Japan Europe operation with their new 744's. I was wondering how their 744 can do this non stop with a good load? And i thought about a ANC stop but it is shown on their US schedules.

Anyone know how it really works? And how much load do they take to europe?

Easily, NRT - Europe is well short of max range for any 744. Be surprised if you couldnt get a full payload on.

NRT -LHR usually about 12hours 30mins, so NRT-AMS would be about 11:45. That means approx. 130,000kgs of fuel. Max. ZFW (without TOW restriction) is 276.7 tonnes and Max. TOW 394.7 tonnes, i.e. approx. 118,000kgs of fuel available. So, the ZFW i.e. load would be restricted to allow a non-stop flight. Unless, of course, NCA have the ERF variant. Most freighter loads on the 747-400F are volume restricted rather than weight.(Light parcels taking up the same volume as heavy ones).
