Ice Crystals/ Shallow Fog.
 
Could somebody please tell me under what weather conditions ice crystals and shallow fog are reported in a METAR.

Thanks for those websites. Shallow fog is well defined, still very unsure under what conditions would ice crystals be reported in a METAR. Are there any Met observers out there who could expail.
