Understanding Logic gates

I frequently need to refer to the Airbus FCOM logic diagrams and would really like to use those in the ECAM system logic guide more frequently but they give me great pains trying to interpret them. Can anybody steer me towards a decent study guide on logic gates?

Try Chapter 1 (Digital Logic Circuits) of M. Morris Mano, Computer System Architecture, Third Edition, Prentice-Hall 1993. I used to use earlier editions of Mano while teaching in the 1980's and they went over quite well.

You might try also Chapter 2 (Fundamentals of Digital Logic) of Douglas E. Comer, Essentials of Computer Architecture. Comer writes for people, and he writes well.

If you want everything put together densely then try Appendix B: Digital Logic of William Stallings, Computer Organisation and Architecture, Seventh Edition.
