L-1011 TriStar: visual MLG downlock indicator?
 
Can anyone confirm whether this type had a "doorbell" indicator on its upper wing surface to show when the main gear was down and locked..?

Yes.
But never heard it called a doorbell type.

Its actual name is "Mechanical Down Lock Indicator" reference MM Chapter 32-61-09.
