A320 Books
 

Hello all,

Im starting an A320 type rating soon and was wondering if anybody could recomend any related books which may be useful to have before, during or after the course.

This book by Impact Ink is excellent. Other UK suppliers do sell it but I found it cheaper to get it direct from the publishers.
After the initial course (and before!) I also found this book excellent to get you in the 'right frame of mind' on the lead up to a sim check. There are a few 'Americanisms' but you can get over that. Additionally, they do an amendment service for free which is a bonus.

FCOM 2
FCOM 3
FCOM 4

You will have already a lot of work with them...

Have a look here and here. Both sites offer heaps of information. I think too much for the begining!

I can highly recommend the A319-320-321 Flight Deck & Systems Briefing for Pilots for a starter.

hi all

as the other guys recommended..FCOMs..the flt deck and sys briefings and the airbusdriver.net..for later on you can go to www.wingfiles.com and download a heap of books in PDF format especially the geeting-to-grips series..e.g getting-to-grips with aircraft performance..etc also the operational liaison meetings wich contain a lot of useful informations
but as an ex-a320 type myself..my recommendation is to keep it simple at first and don't overload on informations and concentrate on your FCOMs
