PW 4000 Series Engines - Fadec issues

Have any of you experienced FADEC anomalies on PW4000 series engines? A few reported incidents have emerged, including a Nationwide 767 RTO at LGW (see AAIB report - that suggests N1 sensor issues) and the recent Sibir A310 run-off at Irkutsk. Would be interested to share experiences....

I'm confused.

What does an engine FADEC have to do with anomalies in commanded inputs
? It's like your computer monitor being blamed for dyslexis inputs

No confusion intended!

What I am interested in is really the frequency and severity of signal problems from say the LPT to the FADEC, which then results in intermittent fuel flow etc. So it is really the quliaty and consistency of commanded inputs via the various engine sensors. If you have an interest, then review the UK AAIB report for Sept 2006 relating to ZS-PBI, where the problem is raised but not discussed. :)
