What NACA airfoil for 737 classic and 744 ?

What is the NACA airfoil type for the 737 classic and the 747-400 ?

You are asking some interesting but strange questions these days, are you looking at this from a pilots, engineers or flt simmers point of view?

NACA airfoil type
Not sure what that is but there is a NACA duct on the 744!

The National Advisory Committee on Aeronautics (NACA) defines airfoil sections using a numbering system. I guess that the original question wants to know what type of wing is used on the B737/747.

Here's some info on a NACA duct, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NACA_duct which is fairly straight forward as it talks about the Pack ram air inlets.

If you look up NACA wing you better ask Joe Sutter as it's all engineering talk. http://www.geocities.com/vienna/2616/node57.html

Boeing does not use NACA airfoils on the wings as far as I know.
Maybe on the horizontal and vertical stabilizer.

Cheers,
