B737 - Thumb switches on column
Hi.
I'm doing a JAA ATPL at the moment, with their 'standard' aircraft being something along the lines of a 737. I noticed the other day some switches (of some sort) in the same place as the thumb trim switches, but on the other side (right thumb for captain, left for F/O). They look like three sliders of some sort, but nobody I've asked has any idea what they're for. Does anyone know? Are they just there for show..... :) Many thanks in advance, NW3 |
They were there originaly as a memory aid for Callsigns/FL's etc. Some use them some dont. They are just counters.
See you in Jerez..:D Good luck with the course. |
