Minimum Manouver Speed
 
Hallo everybody,

I canīt find any definition for minimum manouver speed (yellow band) in my 737 documents. Any help, definition and reference appreciated.

The amber band:

-Displays the minimum maneuver speed for the current flap setting

-Allows for 1.3g/40 degrees of bank before the onset of low speed buffet.

-Is constant regardless of ambient temperature.

Minimum Manoeuvre Speeds??

Seems we are approaching dangerous assumptions here unless the term is very carefully defined.

Some pilots might believe that they cannot make any manoeuvre at or below minimum manoeuvre speed when to do so may save their and my skin if I am a pax..

Perhaps Boeing want to hide some catastrophic result for a 737 if you try a manoeuvre at/below their Vms
