What type is this?

Well, does anyone know? Is it a new type or an old picture?

Have a look at http://www.hp-aircraft.de/edoc/home.html

Looks like the same aircraft to me.

No, its not. The props is to the rear on one and in the front of the engine on the other!

Have a look at this Embraer.

(Should work now):O

Yes, it's the CBA123 developed as a jv between Embraer and FMA (Argentina) in the 1980s as a 19 seat successor to the Bandit. Great performance: 300kt+ cruise etc but ridiculously expensive for a 19 seater so was shelved with only a handful built.

Must have had different engines, as one has round and the other square/oval engine intakes?

Also one is 6 bladed and the other 5 bladed.

The undercarriage is different, too. The mystery aircraft clearly has a single mainwheel on each leg, whereas the Embraer has twin mainwheels (confirmed here).

Also the flaps are of a total different design, very apparent on the link you provided.

Techman 4th Jun 2004 18:25

As you say it is not an Embraer, but an Indian design.
