Europe VS US Runway Markings

Hi
This is a subject I've asked some questions on before. I'm carrying out some research on the differences in some aviation regulations and practices between the Unite States and Europe.

Is there a resource where I can find differences between US and European runway markings? One possibility is for me to study all ICAO and FAA guidelines and draw up a table of differences myself, since I'm not an aviation expert this wouldn't be the best way to do it. I was sure there would be some resource or book for pilots who are beginning to fly the atlantic.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.

I know of no single source that compares the two, not so say one doesn't exist. You may have to use manuals from both sides of the ditch and compare those. For US markings you might want to start with a copy of the FAR-AIM. Its available online or you can easily order a hard copy. I should hope the differences should only be subtle.

The part of the UK Visual Aids Handbook (CAP 637) concerning airport surface markings is only 12 pages long, and its counterpart, the FAA's AC 150/5340-1H is 25 pages long, cover to cover. Get them here:
